A futsal tournament for Afghan girls in Pakistan\u2019s Quetta Balochistan was held this week in a symbolic protest movement against the oppression of women and girls in Afghanistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Afghan Women’s Movement for Justice organized the event to make a statement in support of women\u2019s right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe light of oppression will not burn until dawn,\u201d the group said in a statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The movement sought to highlight the continuation of women\u2019s struggle against the misogynist actions and policies of the Taliban.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The statement said it called for the \u201crights and restoration of the most basic rights of women\u201d by organizing a futsal tournament in Quetta for Afghan women immigrants of the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The statement continued that Afghan women and girls have brought the greatest honors to themselves, their families, and the country with the least facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It emphasized the struggle and standing of the movement\u2019s members on the enlightenment and right-seeking orbit and said that they use every opportunity for the improvement and development of women and girls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The movement said that it will continue the struggle against the Taliban\u2019s gender discrimination and will not allow brutality and barbarism to hold the fate of millions of people hostage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
