Fahima Rahmati, a civil activist and director of \u201cHeela Charity Foundation\u201d said that the Taliban has searched her house and arrested four members of her family and a neighbor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rahmati had shared this news on her Facebook page. She told Rukhshana Media that she went live on Facebook and talked about the Taliban\u2019s arrest of her family members. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
After her live Facebook chat, first, a group of 25 people and later a group of 100 Taliban soldiers stormed her home and beat all her family members. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rahmati said she has no news on her family members arrested by the Taliban. They include two of Rahmati\u2019s brothers, her brother-in-law, and her sister\u2019s brother-in-law. The Taliban has sent one of her brothers to hospital after the injury caused by beatings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Although Rahmati had called the Taliban governor in Kandahar several times, she couldn\u2019t speak to him. His secretary told her that the governor is looking into her case and will resolve it soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She is worried about the well-being of her arrested family members. She said that several people who had been arrested by the Taliban in Kandahar were found dead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is not clear why the Taliban stormed her home, but Rahmati was informed by the previous National Directorate of Security (NDS) that her name was on the Taliban blacklist for not observing proper Islamic hijab. She told NDS that her hijab is Islamic, and she is not afraid of anyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, the office of the Kandahar governor told the media that Fahima Rahmati\u2019s home was searched by armed militia and the Taliban are looking for the perpetrators.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
