۱۰ people, including the bride, were killed and wounded in a wedding ceremony in Jawzjan province, according to a local source.
A local source from Jawzjan province who spoke in condition of anonymity, told Rukhshana Media that an explosion took place in a wedding ceremony on Saturday, October 2 in Aqcha district of Jawzjan province in which 10 people, including the bride, were killed and wounded.
The source confirmed that the bride was killed, but he does not know the exact number of people who were killed or wounded since they were transferred to hospital.
However, the state-run news agency, Bakhtar, reported that the explosion was caused by a “grenade” that killed the bride wounded four people, including two women.
No one has claimed responsibility for the explosion.
