A group of female protesters, who take part in anti-Taliban indoor protests in Afghanistan, called on Afghan women to mobilize and continue demonstrating against the Taliban.
“We call on our fighter sisters and advocates to take part in protest gatherings more actively than the past,” the group said in a statement on Thursday, August 4.
In a video message sent to Rukhshana Media, the group also called on the international community to not officially recognize the Taliban’s government.
Referring to the killing of Al-Qaeda chief, Ayman Al-zawahir, female protesters said the Taliban are a terrorist group, and that they have turned Afghanistan into a terror state.
Streets protests stopped after the Taliban arrested a number of female protesters in the winter. Women are now taking part in indoor protests to raise their voice.
