The Taliban’s police said they arrested a mother and daughter for robbery in Kabul’s 13 police district.
Mohammad Qasim Ayubi, a Taliban police official in Kabul, said in a video message published on Bakhtar News Agency’s Twitter account that dozens of valuable items such as golden jewelries and smartphones were recovered from the suspects’ house.
The stolen items were displayed before camera.
Ayubi said that both women attended wedding parties to steal from the wedding-goers. The suspects’ criminal case has been referred to the criminal investigation unit of Kabul police, he added.
