The airstrikes and shelling carried out by Pakistani forces killed and wounded tens of people in eastern Afghanistan, ToloNews reports.
Five members of one family in Kunar were also among the dead victims of the airstrikes, a local source said.
Huran, a resident of Kunar province, said Pakistani jets bombed some areas in Sheltan district at around 2am last night, killing five members of a family including a mother and four of her children.
Najibullah Hanif, a local Taliban official in Kunar, said Pakistani forces have been shelling Sheltan, and two districts of Kunar in the past three days.
At least 30 including women and children were killed in Pakistan airstrikes in Khost province, local media outlets reported.
The Taliban’s foreign ministry summoned Pakistan’s ambassador in Kabul to protest the attacks.
