A woman, who intended to kill herself, accidentally shot and wounded her husband two weeks ago in Aab Kamari district of Badghis province. The victim died in a local hospital a week after he was injured, a local source said.
The wife made an attempt to commit suicide after she learned her husband was planning to marry a woman for the second time.
The husband was wounded accidentally when he physically engaged to stop his wife from killing herself.

Sediqullah Sediqqi, the Taliban spokesman for Badghis province, confirmed that the incident has taken place but he said the victim was still alive.
