A young girl hanged herself to death in Khani Chahar Bagh district of northern Faryab province on Monday, November 14, local sources in the province tell Rukhshana Media.
The victim is identified as 18-year-old Zarghuna.
Shamsullah Mohammadi, the Taliban’s director of Information and Culture in Faryab, confirmed the incident and told the reporters that an investigation is underway to find the reason behind her death.
