The Taliban have whipped three people, including a woman in Parwan province on charges of running away from home and theft on Tuesday, the Taliban SupremeCourt said in a statement.
They received 39 lashes each and three years of imprisonment, according to the statement.
In a separate statement, the Taliban Supreme Court said a woman was whipped in Oba district of Herat province on June 24 on charges of adultery.
On June 3, the Taliban publicly whipped 63 people, including 15 women in northern Sar-e Pol province.
