Local sources and Taliban officials had confirmed that a decapitated woman’s body was seen in police district 12 of Kandahar province.
A local source who talked anonymously to Rukhshana media said that the body of a decapitated woman was found on Wednesday morning at police district 12 of Kandahar. According to him, the woman was beheaded mysteriously and he worked for an international organization.
“A man has been arrested after his wife’s headless body was discovered by a road in Kandahar” said the source.
Asif Hakimi, the Taliban’s spokesperson for Kandahar’s police chief confirmed the incident to Rukhshana media but did not provide the details.
On February 15, a woman was shot dead by her husband in Badghis province in western Afghanistan.
