A man has shot dead his pregnant wife and two-year-old daughter in Qaisar district of Faryab province on Tuesday, local sources reported.
The incident happened in Qehsheria area of the district, according to local sources. The perpetrator fled the area after the incident.
According to local sources, the incident was a result of domestic violence.
Over the past two days, similar incidents took place in Herat and Badghis provinces. In Herat, a young man beheaded his mother on Tuesday after allegedly she remarried, while in Badghis, a man murdered his 26-year-old daughter.
