Two individuals, a man and a woman, were shot dead for alleged adultery in Lal Sorkh village in Teyora district of Ghor province, local sources said.
One source, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said the Taliban shot the young woman and man to death for having outside marriage affair. He didn’t provide further details.
But the Taliban said they were killed by the relatives of the woman, and one was detained in connection to the incident. Investigation is underway, the Taliban in Ghor province said in a statement.
