The Taliban state-owned media, Bakhtar News Agency, reports their forces arrested a man who killed his wife with an ax.
The suspect, a resident of Khanishen district of southern Helmand province, has confessed to his crime, according to Bakhtar.
The man had fled with his two children after he brutally murdered his wife.
