An explosion triggered by an unexploded ordinance killed one child and wounded three others in eastern Nangarhar province, a local source confirmed.
The source said the incident took place on Friday, April 29th, in Sorkhroad-I Kakrak when a woman and her children were collecting firewood.
A source in Nangarhar regional hospital said a woman and two children were brought to the hospital with injuries, but they are currently in stable condition.
