Female detainees are being held in the houses of female police officers because there is no female detention center in Daikundi

A Taliban source in Daikundi province says female detainees are being held in the houses of female police officers because the province doesn’t have a detention center for women.

The source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said four men and two women, who were accused of immorality, were arrested recently. The female suspects being detained in the houses of female officers.

The Taliban are detaining an increasing number of women and men for immorality and out of marriage sexual relationship since they took power.
