A man stabbed five members of his own family, injuring them severely in Spin Boldak district of Kandahar on Monday, May 24, local sources said.
The suspect was identified as 40-year-old Mohammd Wali. The incident happened in Shahid village, according to a source. Three of the victims were women, and two were men.
A local Taliban official said the suspect was arrested. He added the suspect suffered from mental illness.
