Man wounded his wife and son in Kandahar

Local sources from Kandahar said a man shot his son and wife, wounded both, after a family dispute in the second district of Kandahar city in the evening of Saturday, September 3.

Mohammad Sami, a Kandahar resident, said the wounded victims were transferred to Mirwais Hospital in Kandahar, and that their injuries aren’t life-threatening. The suspect, a local businessman who owns a gas station, shot his son in the shoulder, and his wife in the leg.

Mullah Shir Ali, the chief of the second police district, confirmed the incident, identified the suspect as Dost Mohammad, who was detained by the police.
