A young female nurse and mother of two children has died after she was found hanging inside her home in Ghazni province, but her death has not yet been ruled a suicide.

Two sources with knowledge of the incident confirmed 27-year-old Nazdana was found dead at home in the Ghajor area of Ghazni’s Jaghori district on Tuesday.

A colleague of her, who does not want to be named, says that Nazdana worked at CC Plus hospital in Ghajor Bazaar and she had two young children.

While the cause of death is still unknown, a local journalist, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told Rukhshana Media that the local Taliban forces have arrested the woman’s husband in connection with the incident.

Some sources say Nazdana was murdered but other reports suggest it might have been suicide.

While in in Koh-e-Sayad area of Ghazni’s Shirin Tagab district, a 19-year-old woman took her own life by eating rat poison of the province, leaving behind a child.
