The Taliban fighters raided a house in Khost district of Baghlan province, killing two siblings on Monday, June 6, a local resident from Khost said.

The source, who asked not to be named for security reasons, said the Taliban suspected Sohrab was a member of anti-Taliban militia group known as National Resistance Forces or NRF and carried out a raid on his house.

Sohrab, 22, and Fatima, his 17-year-old sister, were killed in the attack.

The Taliban have recently been accused of extrajudicial killings in Panjshir and Baghlan, the two provinces where they face an armed resistance.
