Two children died after they fell into a well on Saturday, April 30, in Nish district of Kandahar province, local Taliban officials confirmed.
Photos and videos sent to Rukshana Media show the bodies of two children who were pulled out of the well.
Naimatullah Sarachi, the Taliban’s director of public works of the province, said the victims were a six-year-old boy and a seven-year-old girl.
Previously, there have been several reports of children falling into wells in the southern provinces.
