A gunman shot dead his sister and her lover when he caught them having extramarital sex in Kohistan district of northern Faryab province on Monday, August 22, local sources said.
Mohammad Ismail Farqani, a Taliban’s officer for criminal investigation unit in Faryab province, told reporters the suspect was detained.
Farqani identified the male victim as Musa, who had two wives and 11 children. Musa was having sex in her lover’s house when both were shot dead around 8 p.m. Monday.
A local source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said Musa and the woman were both married to different people, and was in contact with each other over the phone.
