A mother dies from preventable childbirth and pregnancy complications every two hours in Afghanistan, the United Nations Population Fund said in a report published Wednesday 16th Murch.
The UNPF said that Afghan women and girls suffer the most in the current crisis in Afghanistan.
The organization has expressed concern that gender-based violence against women and girls is on the rise under the Taliban government.
Since the Taliban have come to power, they have imposed many restrictions on women.
